The Martinsburg Roundhouse welcomes all visitors with disabilities.
Restrooms
Men's and women's restrooms are on the east side of the the Bridge & Machine Shop building, north of the West Roundhouse. Both restrooms have an accessible stall and a baby changing table.
Know Before You Go

Wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to walk upon gravel and uneven concrete surfaces.

Preserved rail and track grooves in floors are dangerous trip hazards.
High wind gusts - Stay away from doorways if winds are gusting. Large doors should be closed in such circumstances
Snow and Ice - The roundhouse complex can be heavily impacted by winter weather, prompting cancellation of events.
High heat advisory - wear light, loose fitting clothes. Facilities are not air conditioned.
Cold Advisory - dress in layers and remove layers as you warm up and before you begin to sweat. Facilities are not heated.
Visit Responsibly
Be Aware - The Roundhouse property borders an active railroad maintained by CSX Transportation and trains come and go many times each day. Please abide by parking restrictions along active rail line.
Respect Roundhouse Resources - Ruins and remnants of buildings and walls are present at our site. These areas are important, fragile resources. Please do not walk, sit or stand on these areas. Vegetation should be left as it is. Take only photos and video, leave only footprints.
ALL children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents/chaperones must stay with children at all times and are responsible for safety and discipline.
