West Virginia Archives and History Commission awards $21K grant to replace clerestory windows

MARTINSBURG, W.Va., (July 15, 2024) -- The the West Virginia Archives and History Commission approved the award of a $21,000 State Development grant for refurbishment and replacement of clerestory windows in the West Roundhouse.

The funds will be matched with $21,000 in Local Economic Development Assistance (LEDA) grant funds that was obtained by members of the Eastern Panhandle delegation in the West Virginia Legislature to refurbish/replace 22 windows.
UPDATE: Additional one-time funding allowed for painting of all 112 clerestory windows in the roundhouse dome upon completion of the refurbishment project by Modern Renovations in the Summer of 2025.
